Jonathon was born in 1633 in Duxbury, Plymouth, MA.  Jonathon's father was John Alden and his mother was Priscilla Mullins.  His paternal grandparents were George Alden and Jane; his maternal grandparents were Wm Mullins and Alice Atwood. He had three brothers and six sisters, named John, Joseph, David, Elizabeth, Sarah, Ruth, Rebecca, Mary and Priscilla.  He was the fifth oldest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 64 on February 14th, 1697 in Duxbury, Plymouth, MA.

Edmund died between 4 Apr 1715 and 28 Sep 1717. She married Pelatiah West in Duxbury, Massachusetts, 12 Jul 1722. Pelatiah was born in Duxbury, Massachusetts 8 Mar 1674. Pelatiah died 7 Dec 1756 in Duxbury, Massachusetts, at 82 years of age.
  
  child 45 ii. Anna Alden. Anna died 8 Jun 1705 in Bridgewater, Massachusetts, at 29 years of age. She married Josiah Snell in Duxbury, Massachusetts, 21 Dec 1699. Josiah was born in Bridgewater, Massachusetts 5 May 1674. Josiah died 4 Apr 1753 in Bridgewater, Massachusetts, at 78 years of age.
  
  child 46 iii. Sarah Alden was born ca 1679. Sarah died 26 Jun 1738 in Duxbury, Massachusetts, at 58 years of age. She married Thomas Southworth ca 1701. Thomas was born ca 1675/6. Thomas was the son of Edward Southworth and Mary Pabodie. Thomas died 2 Sep 1743 in Duxbury, Massachusetts, at 67 years of age.
  
  child 47 iv. Andrew Alden was born ca 1681. Andrew died aft Mar 1754 in Duxbury, Massachusetts. He married Lydia Stanford in Duxbury, Massachusetts, 4 Feb 1713/14.
  
  child 48 v. John Alden was born ca 1681/82. John died 24 Jul 1739 in Duxbury, Massachusetts, at 57 years of age. He married Hannah Briggs in Scituate, Massachusetts, 12 Jan 1709/10. Hannah was born in Scituate, Massachusetts 8 may 1684. Hannah died 8 Feb 1739/40 in South Duxbury, Massachusetts, at 55 years of age.
  
  child 49 vi. Jonathan Alden was born ca Mar 1686. Jonathan died 10 Jul 1770 in Gorham, Maine, at 84 years of age. He married twice. He married Elizabeth Arnold in Marshfield, Massachusetts, 17 Jan 1717/18. Elizabeth died between 26 Oct 1729 and 5 May 1731. He married Mehetable Allen in Bridgewater, Massachusetts, 25 Nov 1731. Mehetable was born in Bridgewater, Massachusetts 18 Dec 1694.
