Ada Jane was born on June 16th, 1872.  Ada Jane's father was William Wharin and her mother was Hannah Elizabeth Latham.  Her paternal grandparents were Henry Wharin and Frances Unknown. She had two brothers and a sister, named William Loreyn, Henry John and Frances Elizabeth.  She was the third oldest of the four children.
