Herbert Simond

Herbert was born on June 26th, 1868. Herbert's father was Francois Frederic Simond and his mother was Ada Spurgin. His paternal grandparents were Jean Francois Denis Simond and Susanne Marie Mieville; his maternal grandfather was Dr John Spurgin and his maternal grandmother is Rose Down. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Amedee, George Mieville, Frederic Arthur, Charles Francois, Herman Kyrle, Septimus Duncan, Rose and Suzanne Lilian. He was the third oldest of the nine children. He died at 1 months old on August 15th, 1868.
