George Mieville Simond

George Mieville was born on January 23rd, 1867. George Mieville's father was Francois Frederic Simond and his mother was Ada Spurgin. His paternal grandparents were Jean Francois Denis Simond and Susanne Marie Mieville; his maternal grandfather was Dr John Spurgin and his maternal grandmother is Rose Down. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Amedee, Herbert, Frederic Arthur, Charles Francois, Herman Kyrle, Septimus Duncan, Rose and Suzanne Lilian. He was the second oldest of the nine children.
