Matilda Seyfang

Matilda was born on February 28th, 1796 in London and her baptism took place on July 23rd, 1797 in Saint Botolph Without Aldersgate.¹ Matilda's father was Christopher Frederick Seyfang and her mother was Elizabeth Gill. Her maternal grandparents were John Gill and Elizabeth Lardant. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Frederick, Charles, George, William, Harriet, Phoebe and Emma. She was the oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 75 on February 28th, 1871.
