Sarah was born on March 16th, 1817 in Thaxted, Essex and her christening took place there on May 4th, 1817.1   Sarah's father was James Phillips and her mother was Ann. She had a brother and a sister, named George and Betsey.  She was the second oldest of the three children.  She died at the age of 6 in 1823 in Thaxted, Essex.  She was buried on June 23rd, 1823 in Thaxted, Essex.1 1
