Melchoir was born on July 3rd, 1569 in Tourcoing, Nord, France.1   Melchoir's father was Pierre Farvacques and his mother was Catherine Hughelot.  His paternal grandparents were Guilbert Farvacques and Isabeau Mullier. He had eight brothers and two sisters, named Quilbert, Noel, Michel , Laurence, Guillebert, Mecez, Jacque, Pironne, Antoinette and Marye.  Melchoir and Quilbert were twins.  He died at just 12 days old on July 15th, 1569 in Tourcoing, Nord, France.1
