Mary was born in 1785 in Hallow Meadow, Preston Bagot, Warwickshire and her baptism took place on October 16th, 1785 in Snitterfield, Nr.Stratford-Upon-Avon, Warwickshire.^1 2   Mary's father was Thomas DUFFIN and her mother was Mary HARRIS.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas DUFFIN and Sarah NEVEL. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, William, John, Sarah, Elizabeth, Martha and Mary.  She was the fourth youngest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 68 in 1853 in Stratford-On-Avon, Warwickshire.  She was buried on August 17th, 1853 in Snitterfield, Nr.Stratford-Upon-Avon, Warwickshire.^2 3
