Nery Machado da Silva 
Nery was born on February 1st in Carazinho. Nery's father was Manoel Machado da Silva and his mother was Amália Alves Xavier (Machado). His paternal grandparents were Antonio Machado da Silva and Leopoldina Welche da (Silva); his maternal grandparents were Marcilio Alves Xavier and Celina Schleder de Quadros. He had five sisters named Zaida, Ely, Hilda, Vera and Eny.
