Feivel was born in 1932.  Feivel's father was Chaim  Zvi Schpatz and his mother was Bluma.  His paternal grandparents were Menachem Mendel Schpatz and Scheindel Yafa Reif. He has a brother and two sisters, named David, Beile and Zipora.  He is the youngest of the four children.
