William was born on July 25th, 1907.  William's father was Aser Haas and his mother was Sarah Weisz.  His paternal grandparents were Herman Haas and Rosa Friedman. He had a brother and a sister, named Louis and Regina.  He was the oldest of the three children.  He died at the age of 68 in September 1975.
