    Dear Sir,
    Yehoshua Friedlander ( picture attached ) was the father of my grandfather.
    He was born arround 1890 in the vicinity of Buczacz and Podhajce, East Galicia.
    Nationality: Jew Father name: Shimon. Mother name: Minzi.
    According to his uniform Yehoshua was a Korporal in Ulan Regiment.
    An educated guess based on where Yehoshua was born indicates he was enlisted to Ulanenregiment Erzherzog Franz Ferdinand Nr.7 which had it's replacement cadre at Brezezany just to the North of Podhajce and Buczacz. There is also a possibility that he served in Ulanenregiment Graf Auersperg Nr.8.
