Bessie was born in 1918 in Leeds Yorkshire.1   Bessie's father was Fred Pullan and her mother was Clara Mann.  Her paternal grandfather was Lawson Pullan and her paternal grandmother is Sarah Totty; her maternal grandparents are Henry (Harry) Mann and Jane Elizabeth Harrison. She had a brother and a sister, named Harry (Henry) and Edna Elizabeth.  She was the second oldest of the three children.  She died  due to Had Cancer Died of Heart Attack at home at the age of 64 in 1982 in Leeds Yorkshire.  Her burial was in 1982 in Lawnswood Cemetary Leeds  Yorkshire.2 2
