Emma was born in 1840 in Welton East Yorkshire and her baptism took place there on February 9th, 1840.1   Emma's father is Robert Garton and her mother is Sarah Rook.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Garton and Phebe Wilson. She had two sisters named Mary Jane and Alice.  She died on March 31st, 1840 in Welton East Yorkshire Age 10 Weeks.1
