Hannah was born in 1825 in Woodside Horsforth Yorkshire and her baptism took place there on April 3rd, 1825.1 2   Hannah's father was Joseph Foster and her mother was Mary (Foster).  Her paternal grandparents were William Foster and Elizabeth (Foster). She had two brothers named Joseph and Samuel.  She is the second oldest of the three children.
