Charles was born on November 25th, 1836 in Woodside Horsforth Yorkshire.1   Charles' father is William Davidson and his mother is Lydia Suttell. He has seven brothers and three sisters, named William Suttell, James, John, George, William, George, ???, Elizabeth, Mary and Lydia.  He is the fifth oldest of the eleven children.
