Tomás was born on September 27th, 1906 in Barcelona.  Tomás' father was Tomás Giménez Casas and his mother was Dolores Compte Bonnevie.  His paternal grandparents were Salvador Giménez and Teresa Casas; his maternal grandparents were Pedro Compte and Teresa Bonnevie. He had a brother and five sisters, named Juan, Teresa, Francisca, Dolores, Marta and Marta.  He died due to a cardiac arrest at the age of 80 on March 12th, 1987 in Barcelona.
