Henry was born on August 23rd, 1838.  Henry's father was Jacob Crick and his mother was Angelina Flick.  His paternal grandparents were Adam Crick and Mary Hammer; his maternal grandparents were Jonas Flick and Mary Keim. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Benjamin, James, Uriah, Casper, Thomas, William, Mary, Delila and Sarah.  He was the third oldest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 75 on September 10th, 1913.
