John was born about October 1734 in Great Yarmouth Norfolk and his christening took place on October 13th, 1734 at St Nicholas Church Gt Yarmouth.1   John's father was Thomas Spillman  and his mother was Sarah Wedelow.  His paternal grandparents were Benjamin Spillman  (Freedom 1702) and Elizabeth Fisher; his maternal grandparents are John Wedelow and <Unknown>. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Richard, Samuel, George, Francis, John, Sarah, Mary and Martha.  He died about 1779 in Gt Yarmouth Norfolk.



John's first family

John were married in a religious ceremony about 1759 in Gt Yarmouth Norfolk.


John's second family

John and Mary were married in a religious ceremony on September 24th, 1769 at St Nicholas Church Gt Yarmouth.  They had two sons and a daughter, named John, Thomas and Phillis.  There are possibly more children.
