Ada was born on January 16th, 1867 in Ipswich Suffolk.1  Ada's father was George Quickfall (Game Keeper) and her mother was Elizabeth Ann Stourton (Sick Nurse).  She was an only child.  She died from a heart attack at the age of 51 in 1918 in Grimsby.

Ada and Charles were married in a religious ceremony in June 1902 in Grimsby.  They had three sons and three daughters, named Joshua, Charles, George, Hilda, Grace and Eva.
