Ann was born on August 6th, 1809 in Barking Essex and her christening took place on December 6th, 1809 at St Margarets Barking.1 2   Ann's father was Andrew Quash (pos born Exeter) and her mother was Elizabeth Hall.  Her maternal grandparents were John Hall and Ann. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Andrew, William, John, Martha, Eliza, Susanna and Emma.  She was the oldest of the eight children. She had a half-sister named Elizabeth.  She died from cancer, Stomach & Bladder, at the age of 69 on November 5th, 1878 at 2 Worsley Buildings Grimsby.  The funeral took place in November 1878 in Grimsby.  She was buried.3
