William was born in February 1815 in Barking Essex and his christening took place on February 5th, 1815 at St Margaret's Barking.1   William's father was Joshuar (Wheelwright) Page and his mother was Letitia Shelshear (b Margaret Rothings Essex).  His paternal grandparents were Joshuar Page (Wheelwright) and Sarah. He had two brothers and a sister, named Thomas, Charles and Eliza.  He died at the age of 72 in March 1887 in Aldgate Middlesex.2
