Byron, known as Bonnie, was born about 1883 in Whim Cottage High St Gorleston.  Bonnie's father was William Henry Page (Shipwright Smack Owner) and his mother was Clara Wicks.  His paternal grandparents were William Henry (Fisherman) Page (d Aldgate) and Sarah Gt Ilford Pollard; his maternal grandparents were Samuel [Fisherman] Wicks and Martha Ann Bull. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Clara, Lost at sea, Charles, Albert, Clara, Annie, Eleanor, Violet and Daisy.  He was the youngest of the ten children.
