Eliza was born in 1856 in Barking Essex.  Eliza's father was Richard Joseph Jarvis (Ag Labourer-Gardener) and her mother was Mary Elizabeth Hart (Ag Labourer).  Her paternal grandparents were Richard Jarvis (Ag Labourer) and Sarah Elmore; her maternal grandparents were William  Henry Hart (Ag Labourer) and Ann Lodge (St Pancras SomerT). She had a sister named Sarah.  She was the younger of the two children. She had six half-sisters named Maria, Mary, Alice, Emily, Alice and Maria.  She died at the age of 27 on February 2nd, 1883 in Ribchester Terrace Chapel St Stratford Essex.  The funeral took place on February 8th, 1883 at St Margaret's Barking.  She was buried on February 8th, 1883 at St Margaret's Barking.1 2
