Maria was born about 1783.  Maria's father was William Everest (Blacksmith) and her mother was Ann Alles.  Her maternal grandparents were Edward Alles (b Shadwell ?) and Susannah. She had two brothers and four sisters, named John, William, Ann, Elizabeth, Ann and Sarah.  She was the youngest of the seven children.
