Robert's father was Thomas Cooper (Freedom 1676 Yarmouth Will Cons) and his mother was Elizabeth London.  His paternal grandparents were Robert Cooper (Yarmouth Freedom 1653 Will PCC) and Margaret Albertson (Will 19 May 1684); his maternal grandparents are Thomas London (of Cringleford Gent) and <Unknown>. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, John, Mary, Elizabeth, Margaret and Ruth.
