Sarah was born on May 22nd, 1787 in Barking Essex and her christening took place on June 20th, 1787 at St Margaret's  Church Barking.1   Sarah's father was William Butterfield (Butcher) and her mother was Martha £50 Skinner.  Her paternal grandparents are Butterfield and <Unknown>; her maternal grandparents were Ambrose Skinner (of Longbridge) and Ann Pittman. She had a brother and two sisters, named William, Sarah and Ann.  She was the youngest of the four children.  She died at the age of 80 on June 18th, 1867 in Romford Union Workhouse.  The funeral took place on June 18th, 1867 at St Margaret's  Church Barking.  She was buried on June 18th, 1867 at St Margaret's  Church Barking.2 2
