ME/ME (yes, Maine), son Frank 12 MO, dtr Bertha 10 MO, dtr Ellen J. 4 MO.  Immed nbrs James ARMSTRONG and Alexander TANYER.  No other WISE on page.  Also in Spring Creek is (brother) boarder William WISE age 24 (b est 1856) IN, f/m IN/IN (sic), R. R. fireman, unemployed 2 mos during census year, residing at dw/fam 238/238 in hotel of Peter DILL.

IN, living with Flora T., age 30 (b est 1840), female, white, keeping house, b. IL, Frank male 2 MO, and Berta 3/12 female MO.  Immed nbrs are William AUSTIN and A. DOUGHERTY.  No other WISE on page.  Only other WISE heads of h/hold in Carroll, MO in 1870 are Mason 1845 MO in Grand River, and Aaron 1846 MO in Morris.
