Thomas' father was James Gordon and his mother was Mary Campbell.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas [1858-TheMeen,Plots 25&26] Gordon and Catherine Carmichael. He had a brother and a sister, named Robert and Mary Jane.  He died at the age of 44 on January 31st, 1903.

  Oh dear, his death cert contains a note from the coroner saying he died of brain injury due to being thrown from his horse while under the influence of drink.

  - Thomas Gordon Sr is scored out of Plots 25 & 26 to James Gordon (Deaf), no date given.  There is also a note in the margin that says, "James Gordon (Deaf) See Guardians Book 79"  I have no idea what this means.  However, I am assuming that James Gordon (Deaf) is the brother of my great great grandfather, John Gordon.  1st Kilrea Presbyterian Church refers to to a "Deaf James" in its Communicants Roll book.
  - New byre built in 1889 increasing buildings rate from 30 shillings to 40 shillings
  - Jas Gordon (Deaf) scored out to Thomas Gordon (?Land Side?) in 1897 and he in turn scored out to Thomasina Gordon in 1905.  This fits with James dyring before 1901 and his son Thomas taking over and dying himself in 1903, at which point his wife, Thomasina acquired the farm.
  - No changes til the books end in 1929.
