  You have made my day! So pleased to find Gordon relatives.
  My great grandmother was born Margaret Jane Gordon in Adelaide South Australia in 1855. Her parents were George Gordon (Labourer) and Maria Kidd.
  Siblings are
  Catherine no record of birth yet...but was a Spinster
  Margaret Jane 1855 in Adelaide S A (maybe the same person as below)

  Thomas George 1859 in Forest Creek Victoria
  Robert James 1864 Gisborne Victoria
  Anna Maria 1867 in Melbourne Victoria
  Ruth Elizabeth 1871 in Boll Victoria.
  They were living at Riddells Creek in Victoria when I assume my Great Grandparents met and then married at Sandhurst(Bendigo) in 1874.
  Margaret Jane married John Johnston and farmed at Bonn near Rochester Victoria until retirement when they moved into Rochester. My family continued to farm around the Rochester/Lockington areas the original farm was sold and the house shifted then burnt down about 10 years ago.
  Robert James moved to Deniliquin NSW.
  I have the wills of George Gordon and Maria(Kidd) Gordon.
  I had my father’s DNA tested before he passed away in 2015 so it is his information on Ancestry. Any way l can help please ask and I would love to hear back from you. Always great to be able to fill in the gaps by sharing information.

  Pam sent me a clipping from an Aus newspaper of 1878 where a court granted maintenance to Maria Gordon because her husband was spending time away from the home; seems he left her.
