James Cooke 
James was born on July 7th, 1846. James' father was James Cooke and his mother was Elinor Gilmer. His paternal grandparents were James McCook and Mary Ann McIlhouse. He had two brothers and six sisters, named Robert, Archibald, Margaret, Nancy, Mary, Ellen, Sarah and Isabella. He was the oldest of the nine children.General Notes
