  This man must be the William born to John Boyd of Crosscandly who married Nancy Blair in 1893, as he was from Crosscandly and his father was John Boyd, a teacher. 
  
  The 1901 Census for Drumcroon townland in Drumcroon DED in the parish of Macosquin gives Wm Boyd, 2nd class house which he owns, Head, OS Church, 34, Farmer, living with his wife, Nancy Boyd, 45, OS Church and a lodger, Robert Blair, UF Church, 55, Agric Labourer, Unmarried.  Robert Blair must be an in-law because Nancy's name was Blair but he can NOT be the Robert Blair of Collins who was married to a Rachel Boyd because this Robert was unmarried:
