She died in an accident or as a result of an injury, fell down the stairs and broke her arm around 9 weeks before death, at the age of 85 on April 3rd, 1992 in Paisley.  The funeral took place on April 7th, 1992 in Paisley and was arranged by Walter Johnston & Sons, Funeral Directors.  She was cremated on April 7th, 1992 in Paisley.⁸
