Gavin lived alone at Flat 3, 28 St. Margaret’s Street, Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire. His decomposed body was discovered on the morning of 1 November 2016 lying at the bottom of a spiral staircase in the flat. An examination after death was unable to ascertain a cause of death due to the advanced stage of body decomposition although there is no evidence to suggest foul play or evidence of third party involvement in Gavin’s death and there is no evidence to suggest he died as a result of accidental trauma.
