Margaret Jane Wray

Margaret was born in July 1843 in Raphoe and her baptism took place there on July 16th, 1843.^1 2

Margaret's father was Samuel Alexander Wray and her mother was Rebecca Steen.  Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Wray and Elizabeth Dun; her maternal grandparents were Joseph Steen and Janey Campbell. She had two brothers and a sister, named Samuel, William and Catherine.  She was the second oldest of the four children.  She died due to natural causes or old age, degeneration, changes accompanying old age, at the age of 83 on February 28th, 1927 in Port Glasgow.  She was buried in Port Glasgow.^3 4 5
