Evan's father was John Walker and his mother was Elisabeth Cameron. His maternal grandparents were James Cameron and Margaret McLatchie. He had five brothers and two sisters, named James, David, Robert, William, Evan, Maggie and Elizabeth. Elizabeth and Evan were twins. He died at the age of 54 on April 22nd, 1932 in Detroit.
