Agnes' father was David Rennie Pritchard and her mother was Mary Mcaulay Miller. Her paternal grandparents were John Pritchard and Euphemia McKechan Rennie. She had three sisters named Euphemia, Mary and Alexandrina. She was the oldest of the four children. She died at the age of 72 in 1983 in Glasgow.
