Allan McMurn

Allan was born on January 26th, 1818 in Prestwick and his baptism took place there on February 6th, 1818 conducted by M Crighton.¹   Allan's father was Jonathon McMurren and his mother was Susan McAllan. He had three brothers and three sisters, named James, Jonathan, David, Ann, Helen and Susanna.  He was the third oldest of the seven children. He had two half-brothers named Samuel and William.
