Catherine was born in 1896 in St. Rollox.1  Catherine's father was Duncan Livingston and her mother was Catherine McPherson.  Her paternal grandparents were Duncan Livingston and Anne Clarke. She had a brother and a sister, named John and Georgina.  She was the second oldest of the three children.  She died due to a respiratory problem and/or pneumonia, Died of Influenza and Cerebral Toxaemia, at the age of 21 on January 16th, 1917 in Glasgow.  She was buried in Glasgow.2 2
