Archibald Lamont 
Archibald was born in 1845 in Paisley.1 2 Archibald's father was James Lamont and his mother was Mary Thomson. His maternal grandparents were Archibald Thomson and Katrine Eaglesome. He had two brothers and four sisters, named James, Fulton, Cathrine, Mary, Janet and Ann. He was the second oldest of the seven children.-
