William Flinn

William was born on April 4th, 1831 in Newton-on-Ayr and his baptism took place on May 2nd, 1831 in Monkton.^1 2

William's father was William Flinn and his mother was Mary Carson.  His paternal grandparents were William Flinn and Susan McAllan. He had a brother and five sisters, named John, Margaret, Susan, Mary, Hellen and Janet.  He was the second oldest of the seven children.  He died due to a medical problem, chronic cystitis, 2 years, at the age of 67 on January 4th, 1899 in Kilmarnock.³
