Mary Flinn 
Mary was born in 1836 in Newton-on-Ayr.1 2 Mary's father was William Flinn and her mother was Mary Carson. Her paternal grandparents were William Flinn and Susan McAllan. She had two brothers and four sisters, named William, John, Margaret, Susan, Hellen and Janet. She was the fourth oldest of the seven children.-
