William Drummond 
William was born in 1836 in Paisley Abbey parish.1 2 William's father was William Drummond and his mother was Christian Campbell. His paternal grandparents were William Drumond and Mary Tours. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Moses, James, Hugh, Janet, Mary, Christina, Aird and Margaret. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named Robert, Isabella, Helen and Annie.
