Hugh Cameron 
Hugh was born in 1835 in Old Cumnock.1 2 Hugh's father was James Cameron and his mother was Margaret McLatchie. His maternal grandparents were Hugh McLatchie and Agnes Reid. He had five sisters named Margaret, Elizabeth, Katherine, Elisabeth and Mary. He was the second oldest of the six children.-
