Hugh Borthwick

Hugh was born in 1845 in West Lothian.¹ Hugh's father was Hugh Borthwick and his mother was Mary Haston. His paternal grandparents were Hugh Borthwick and Margaret Brash. He had three brothers named James, John and George. He was the youngest of the four children.
