Isaac Great White Eagle was born about November 26th, 1753 in Moorefield, Virginia.  Isaac Great White Eagle's father was William Andrew Zane and his mother was Nancy Anna Nolan.  His paternal grandparents were Nathaniel Zane and Grace Jane Rexstrew Rakestraw. He had five brothers and a sister, named Silas, Ebenezer, Jonathan, Andrew, Elizabeth Betty and Elizabeth Betty.  He was the fifth oldest of the seven children.  He was adopted by Chief Tarhee, Tarkee, Takee, the Crane or - by the French - as Le Grue, Le Chef Grue, or Monsieur Grue Grand Sachem of the Wyandot Nation Tarhee (Wyandot Porcupine Clan) & Menomonee Ronyouquaines (La Durante) Durante (French Canadian Wyandot).  He died in 1816 in Zanesfield, Logan Co., OH.
