Aeltje Van was born in 1674.  Aeltje Van's father was Coert Van Vorhees and her mother was Marretje Covenhoven.  Her paternal grandparents are Steven Van Vorhees and Aletje Hauels Wessels; her maternal grandfather is Garrett Wolferssen Van Covenhoven and her maternal grandmother was Altje Cool. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Cornelius, Johannes Coert Van, Neeltje and Annetje.  She died at the age of 72 on November 12th, 1746.
