Martha Ann was born in 1821.  Martha Ann's father was Martin Varner and her mother was Elizabeth Evaline Inglis (English Inglish).  Her maternal grandfather was William Joseph Inglis and her maternal grandmother is Sarah Anderson. She had a brother and two sisters, named Stephen Austin, Helen and Indiana Penelope.  She died at the age of 85 in 1906.
