James Tharpe Thorpe

James Tharpe was born about 1735 in Caroline Co., Virginia. James Tharpe's father was Thomas Tharpe Thorpe III and his mother was Frances Blott. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Tharpe Thorpe II and Florinda Goode Goad. He had two brothers named Thomas Tharpe and William Tharpe. He was the youngest of the three children. He died before 1791 in Bedford Co., Virginia.
