Van Swearingen

Van was born about 1777. Van's father was Van Swearingen and his mother was Rachel Cloud. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Van Swearingen and Lydia Permenter; his maternal grandparents were Noah Cloud RS and Eunola "Unity" Carroll. He had five brothers and four sisters, named William, Elihah, Ansel Ancel, Joel, John, Milley, Margaret Ann Peggy, Hannah and Zilpha. He had a half-brother named Moses.
